Mess has addresses

Do not buy a pretty basket for a problem that lives on the floor of the entry, in the moth-pantry, and under a pile of winter razais. Name the address, then pick the object. Our category is short on purpose. A mall of 400 storage SKUs is how you own more plastic and the same mess.

The rail

Slim flocked hangers are the rare product that creates space. Wire hangers tax clothes. Fat plastic hangers tax the rod. Twenty hangers is a start. You own more clothes than you think. Wet laundry still belongs on the balcony, not on velvet.

The pantry

Clamp-lid glass jars beat “airtight” printed on a floppy plastic lid. Monsoon humidity plus a cardboard biscuit pack is a moth invitation. Label with tape. Cafe calligraphy is not a storage strategy at 7am.

The bed gap

Measure the palang. If there is no gap, under-bed bags are a purchase for a different house. If there is a gap, three clear-window bags beat a sofa mountain. Clean clothes only. A dirty kurta in a zip bag is still a moth farm.

Doors and shoes

Over-door hooks must fit Pakistani door thickness. Suction is a lie on our tiles. Shoe racks belong at the door you use. A rack in the drawing room nobody enters is sculpture.

Cables are furniture now

Our own teak-stain cable box exists because plastic bunkers yellow and sealed boxes cook adapters. If you want affiliate-only, skip it. If the TV unit looks like a server room, it is the piece we make.

I am in a rented flat.

Hangers, jars, under-bed bags, over-door pockets, a shoe rack. That list needs no landlord. The cable box needs no drill either.

Joint family, twenty pairs of shoes.

One 3-tier rack will not save you. Buy two or a cupboard. Do not pretend a student rack is a joint-family policy.
